** 2024 Opponent Preview : Colorado (Game 2) **

I think it depends how they lose to NDSU. If they lose because they were looking ahead and not focused and got a little unlucky and now we have to play the pissed off best version of Colorado - that's not ideal. If they lose trying their hardest because they just aren't a good team then obviously that would be awesome.

The atmosphere for the Miami game in 2014 was nuts.  I expect this game to be at that level.  Or perhaps surpass it.

I was a student then but didn't have student tickets that year for some reason, and didn't go to the game. I lived 13 blocks away. It was the only game I was ever able to hear the crowd and I could hear it in my apartment. I remember at one point hearing a huge cheer and then saw the play on the TV like 5 seconds later. 

 
My son is a hs senior and the only weekend he has open from marching band is the weekend of Sept 7 for the Colorado game.  I am curious if anyone knows of any tickets that are not accounted for or any local brokers in Lincoln and Omaha that would not be as outrageous as stubhub currently is.  

 
Local radio discussed the Trevor Reilly situation quite a bit this morning. It sounds like the sCUm Board of Directors is doing their best to distance themselves from Reilly as more details come out, while also trying to get Deion to pump the brakes a bit (not all publicity is good publicity kind of thing). They made it sound like Reilly did absolutely nothing of actual significance as a "special teams coordinator" and that his role was a glorified fundraiser as a $90k/year employee. This seemed all well and good, but it sounds like the university is not thrilled with his efforts to secure funding from the Saudis that also bankroll the LIV tour. This could get interesting if the administration is already getting tired of Deion's act.

Why would the Board of Directors need to distance from a $90K assistant? Didn't he work for Deion?

Someone ok'd the expenses to go to Saudi Arabia before all of this came out.  Doubt a $90K guy was gonna eat a $15K travel expense.

I know the peace of mind isn't there but just go get two from a scalper outside the stadium. Especially if you're willing to wait until after kickoff, you can essentially name your price as they will take something rather than nothing. I've never not been able to find tickets outside the stadium and have never paid more than face value for them.

I completely agree, someone definitely knew about it. This was just the speculation from the local radio hosts, who have been big Deion supporters. They viewed this as the university being a bit concerned about the optics of the Saudi relationship, hence why they are trying to distance themselves from the former employee and what he's saying.
