Agree. And, you bring up a good point. Daddy has said he will only let him go to a few teams. I'm guessing that means to a few GOOD teams. If he's going to be drafted early in the first round, it's going to be to a crappy team.IMO Shadeur has done pretty well for having played behind an incredibly suspect offensive line for most of his time at Colorado. He certainly has flaws and some things he could improve upon but I think he's also still a pretty talented quarterback.
That said, I'm not really sure what to make of him at the NFL level. I'm by no means an expert, but I tend to have pretty good gut feelings about how well certain quarterbacks will pan out in the league. Shadeur doesn't give me warm, fuzzy feelings. I think probably the worst thing that could happen to him is being drafted high to a poor team without good weapons and a good o-line. He seems like a guy who could benefit more from sitting for a year or two as I don't think his mental capabilities are as polished as other recent young quarterback draftees.
And even then, I still don't know if I see him panning out as an elite NFL or playoff winning quarterback. Maybe in the right situation but something about him just doesn't give me confidence that he'll excel in the NFL (obviously, this really has no bearing on his draftability or status... GM's gonna GM.)
I think you hit the nail on the head with your assessment. He’s definitely very athletic and has some talent you can’t teach, but between the ears is what’s holding him back (not that I’m saying he’s a dumb person, more that he doesn’t think about how what he’s doing affects the team and people around him) and in the NFL that doesn’t tend to fly very well.IMO Shadeur has done pretty well for having played behind an incredibly suspect offensive line for most of his time at Colorado. He certainly has flaws and some things he could improve upon but I think he's also still a pretty talented quarterback.

Similar to Nebraska "quiting" during the USC game in Callahan's last year? That season....sucked.I have a feeling that Colorado may have quit on the 2024 season in the first half @ Nebraska.
I think it will be an ugly downhill slide for them this year and they'll have to start over with an entirely different philosophy and staff next year.
Yep, his only manner of motivating his team is dreaming up one contrived disrespect after the other.I watched prime’s post game. Whata freaking joke. He talked about how disrespectful CSU was bla bla bla. Everything he accused them of his team is light years worse. No accountability, victim mentality…
Such a contrast from Rhule.
What team doesn’t talk trash before a game? Colorado has talked SO much.CSU did talk trash before the game, so this isn't CU and Shedeur making stuff up.
Sure, it’s not all made up. But there is little doubt CU has more than asked for any trash talk that comes their way. They’re clearly the more skilled team. Rise above it. But with Sanders’ team building skills, all they have to work with is grievances of disrespect. Pretty shallow and sad imo.CSU did talk trash before the game, so this isn't CU and Shedeur making stuff up.
