2024 Transfer Portal Ins/Outs

Any rumors on why he wants to leave Missouri? And maybe why he red shirted?

 Would think a 5 star would play right away. Did they have comparable and older edge talent on the team?

Is he just playing free agency?

There was a sports illustrated article that also had quotes from his coaches saying that they felt he was a long-term development prospect, and not ready to play right away.

 
Both interesting pieces of info. Hope we get him! Weird that a 5 star would be considered developmental. Maybe a physical freak but with little technique?

 
Supposedly he is a very raw football wise, but an athletic freak for his size.
 

According to Mizzou fans, he was lazy and had an attitude that butted heads with coaches.  I would guess a guy like him never had to truly work hard in high school, he could just out athlete the guy across from him. 
 

If the above is true, his HS coach is on our staff (Mozee), so hopefully he can help get the correct buttons pushed to help him fulfill his potential.

Also not sure he ever really wanted to go to Mizzou, but the money was too good to pass up.  They have a state law that says something like high schoolers can start earning NIL once they commit to a state school.  So he as able to start cashing checks the day he committed.

Yeah I said we were in a battle with Georgia and people laughed at that fact bc everyone including myself thought we have the advantage bc his old position coach is here.  Georgia already has enough talent with their high school kids they recruit each year.  Yes I know you can never have enough talent but what type of message is this sending to the kids on their roster that committed to them that are highly ranked?
