2024 Transfer Portal Ins/Outs

As to date, we added 8 from the portal.  So far, just 3 are impact/starters (1 WR, and 2 on special teams - LS & P).  We added 2 rotational guys on D-Line (dpeth), and a DB that will compete for a starting job/rotation.  Plus QB2 competition.  

When I think of the transfer portal, I think immediate impact players/starters to address a void, and then some immediate depth (rotation guys).

I think we can do better.  I have to believe we will do better.  And I'm not talking about adding more running backs or players to a room that is already stacked with guys.  We need to add players to fill spots that are open for immediate need (OL & LB).  And players that have legit experience and good tape.

Ohio State Buckeye and LSU Tiger corner Jyaire Brown will be visiting on January 20. 4 star CB out of HS looking for his 3rd team.   This what we are going to see, athletic talent looking for playing time.
