2024 Transfer Portal Ins/Outs

I must have missed that.

I guess he's banking on getting $1M+ this year and hoping to improve the draft status.  This is a weak QB year, would think he'd be a top 5 QB.  Who is in next year's QB class?  Arch and?

I was just wondering if he's giving himself options.  Word is Ewers got a huge offer to enter the portal and stay in college another year.  Perhaps he just wants to see if anyone would make a similar offer.

Ooof Isaiah McMorris to... Missouri State. Guess they will be in CUSA... (he now, at least in my mind, is the second most famous player there next to: JOHN GOODMAN!! Though I guess John tore his ACL before ever taking the field.)

Yeah .... about that .... (from 13 months ago).

We are closing in on taking as many transfers as high school guys.
Ever evolving world. Glad Rhule is adapting. I think the number of portal guys taken this year will be abnormal but glad they won’t just sit back.

I have wondered if we had won more games if he would stick to his longer development plan, but after the way things went this season if he is feeling some heat.

I do think some of the higher number is due to new coordinators and position coaches at two of the highest volume positions (WR/DB) looking for very different things than the previous coaches. So I don't expect the Portal/HS split to be this close every year. But yeah I would guess the 90% is just no longer the plan, that's just handicapping yourself with the talent that is available in the portal.
