What? No KSU? But they're going to dominate! If they can just get past Louisville, they could be contending for the national championship!!!!

For those that don't get the joke, see THIS THREAD...

What do you think about OU 10th?  With Rhett Bomar gone, they're more 20-25.
This is deja vu. I was talking football with an OU fan today. He was swearing up and down that they lose no more than 2 games this year and are deserving of that preseason #10.

I asked him if he actually watched any of the game that Thompson played in at qb. Because if he did , hes got to be on crack to think that they are contenders.

I know that they have AD. Teams are gonna load the box bigtime. He will still get some good yardage just because of the amount of carries that he will get.

But he will get PUNISHED! Thompson will get blitzed from every position. I think that they will force him to throw . The interceptions should pile up.

The thing with OU is that they have a really good defense and a fantastic running back. Those two things should be able to keep the Sooners in most games this year. IF Thompson can simple be in a position to not lose a game then OU stands to be pretty good. However, if THompson is put in a position that he has to win a game. Then it could be a bad situation for the Sooners. It will be a fun thing to watch. I can't wait for Sept 2.

20 is fine by me. I say we make top 10 this year...at least! The first two games won't matter, but once we beat USC we'll move up considerably...probably to like 15th/16th or something. Then once we beat Iowa State (who I think will have a good year too) and Texas (who will probably have only lost to Oklahoma so far), we'll move up to the top 10. And we'll stay around that same spot because the teams we play after that won't matter too much (at least to the AP)

Final ranking before bowl game....#9

20 is a good place to start this team out. I do not think we will sneak up on anyone after the usc game win or lose as long as we do not get blown out, which we wont

If we get past USC, Texas and ISU, more than likely are poll position will be alot higher than 9th. If we go undefeated, then we should be contendig for a national championship. :wasted Just my two cents.........
