Hey guys, sorry it took me a little bit to get this. Are we keeping the helmet pictures on the bottom? I operated under that assumption, and that the banner at the top was another way to spotlight the Big Ten. In that light, I felt that having links for each image would make it more like another navigation menu up there, and thought it was unnecessary.
So I took huskeraddict's image set and put them together into one image, as a simple display banner below the navigation. They're separated by division. It's up right now for the QB Test skin. I used addict's original image set rather than the more recent one he posted, since those were the same as the helmets on the bottom. I also think that if we want to use the helmets instead on an image that has two divisions split up, we should have half the helmets facing one right and the other half facing left.
I actually created several different versions, so I'll do a rundown here. Whichever one you guys like best - or combinations of different aspects of different ones - can be the one we port over to QB Live and QBL. Alternatively, we can go the Helmets route, as well. The parse block is {parse block="b1g_promo"}
1. Standard (same size) (with team logos toned down in saturation a bit)
2. Dissolved (currently on QB Test) (with team logos made smaller)
3. "Proud to be in the Big Ten" (I had some difficulty figuring out how to incorporate the text into the image, and this is one of the concepts I had.)
3a. Wisconsin was left without a letter in "Proud to be ...", so I couldn't quite settle on a replacement. Here's a paper plane arrow, to represent the transitioning/moving
to element, if we don't want to be too "I <3 NY" t-shirt-ish.
3b. And here's an exclamation mark. A variety of other options here. Basically any symbol in any symbol font ever (the heart and plane were Webdings and Wingdings, respectively) would be easily implementable. Any other suggestions welcome.
4. Dissolved + text (my second thought, to add the text in the extra spaces)
5. "LEADER/LEGEND" (my most recent thought on the text issue. maybe when they get to 14 teams we can make each side plural

)
