I'm confused about one thing here. I think this school is a state university. I realize that it's probably a dumb question, but isn't the successful completion of a background check required for those positions? Not trying to throw shade by any means, he seems to have done quite a bit to rehabilitate from his previous issues. I'm just not sure how a school is able to hire him; maybe I'm just naive.
