C'mon Matty, did you not learn that lesson with Riley? 

You don't continue to set a program back for a couple recruits. That goodness the powers to be had sense to not let this happen to us. 

The only reason he has the 5star QB is he hired his HS coach onto staff. That's an anomaly. 

If they finishes the season how I think they will, 0-3, he done.

Lovie wont be going anywhere till after next year or even possibly 2020.   His buy-out is $12.6M but drops to $8M next year and then $4M come 2020. 

Not only is the buyout in the way but they want to see how his first full recruiting class does when they are seniors which will be next season.

Why are you comparing Nebraska and Illinois situations then with Riley and Lovie? Nebraska is a dog, Illinois is a bottom feeder. Illinois has a chance to inject some talent they don’t ever get into their program. They should stick with it a while. Nebraska was becoming closer to Illinois under Riley.

I see what you’re saying, but it’s apples and oranges.
