DT Deadrin Senat [USF - Signed NLI]

I have heard very little except for him decommitting from FSU. Lots of people think that he might re up with FSU. It seems a little weird that he would decommit only to re up later. I haven't seen anything from anyone to why he decommitted. I would think there is a chance to get him up here, but he has seemed to be more interested in staying in the South. Nebraska has other players from his school that is officially visiting Neb. Mac Alexander to be specific. It is my understanding that we do have a great shot with Alexander even though Notre Dame is still in the picture, because Alexander likes Terry Joesph and would feel comfortable with him, and Nebraska has a great program to get players to the NFL so why not come here right? HOWEVER Joesph is the secondary coach and has very little to do with the lineman. So I am not so such if a package deal is something that would happen, but I will say this a lot of the schools that Senat is looking isn't running a 3-4 which is exactly what we are moving to once we get the players. Senat would fit in well here!!

he would be a good nose. but vincent valentine is going to be a stud and I cant see him playing anywhere but the heart of the interior of the d line. he is a stud. picked NU over Florida last year

I agree that VV will be a stud, and I can't wait till Valentines Day to arrive, but we will need two NT's in a 3-4 system!! I wonder if we could use a guy like Peat Jr as a backup NT

I also think aaron curry could be a good fit there behind vincent valentine. these two are just true freshman I expect them to get even bigger by next year. which is scary. esp for VV, he is already huge

Was funny that people complained about us going and getting Curry and it turns out he could contribute this year if we needed him to.

Not saying JUCO's are not needed once in a while, but we are not going to build a winning legacy trying to guess on what JUCO's may pan out in a year or two. I would just as soon we punt all JUCO's and build a program from the ground up. Just saying....

GBR

We only have three JUCO's in this class.

That comment was directed at the post by Ibleedred....who said he wanted more JUCOS. Three quality JUCO's is plenty. UNLESS ,we can get a four star or even 5 star recruit, which is probably no happening this year. We have a really nice class. I have no complaints. Anytime we can get a top 10 or top 15 class, we need to be relatively satisfied, considering the state of our program the last ten years--good but not great.
