Kennedy is a self serving hypocritical party synchopat. I think at this point what he has to say falls completely hollow. Was Kennedy in the right for what he told the witness?

Ok, let’s try this route. Was the law professors in the right for saying SCOTUS justices were evil and that nationwide injunctions were good for Rep Presidents but bad for Dem Presidents? Pretty simple question to answer.Kennedy is a self serving hypocritical party synchopat. I think at this point what he has to say falls completely hollow.
To that question I would answer no the law professors isn't in the right for that. I would also maintain my original point that GOP members are hilariously hypocritical.Ok, let’s try this route. Good answer. And very very very few US politicians are not hypocritical. No matter what side they vote for.To that question I would answer no the law professors isn't in the right for that. I would also maintain my original point that GOP members are hilariously hypocritical.
You just described the vast majority of white collar jobs. This isn't unique to academia.Universities are amazing at paying high salaries, hoarding money and convincing students that student life should mean you live like a broke person.
It is why professors, even with tenure, very rarely "rock the boat"
There was a documentary I watched and they interviewed a female Harvard professor and she said something like "I was told, by older professors that I should play the part of the dutiful daughter and not ruffle any feathers"
In other words, you made it, you have the great job, you have the great schedule you have the great pay...so just shut up and enjoy it now.
That is true! You just described the vast majority of white collar jobs. This isn't unique to academia.
Maybe Brown was the only school he could get into???Sorry, I missed the part where Mr. Shieh was forced to go to Brown University to suffer such indignity. Is he not aware that there are about a gazillion other schools he could attend instead, or better yet, that no one is forcing him to attend college at all. The best way to combat the bloat he bemoans is with his checkbook. The schools will straighten out or they’ll be gone if people would just employ free enterprise theories. Or I guess he can whine some more…
Maybe take that $372,000 he would fork over to Brown, invest it at age 19, then get any old job and work it for 25-30 years then retire at age 50. Downside is, his spoiled rotten kids wouldn’t be able to get in as a legacy to Brown.Maybe Brown was the only school he could get into???
Hahahaha.
The legacy thing at Ivy league schools is crazy strong, that is for sure.Maybe take that $372,000 he would fork over to Brown, invest it at age 19, then get any old job and work it for 25-30 years then retire at age 50. These “smart” kids must not be real good with math or finances.
Yeah, silly him. Why would he try and make the system better for those less fortunate than him. Crazy thinking. Maybe he should read your book “ just let Universities have their way for dummies.”Sorry, I missed the part where Mr. Shieh was forced to go to Brown University to suffer such indignity.
