FWIW, he didnt get the pw from me either. But I did get the email below from "ADAM" after his acct was canned. what a cockrock. couldnt even resist using his little moniker in his new email -- note the "f f" listed in the From field.

I just got back in town, so I'm a bit out of date with the recent goings-on, but it appears that one of the Mods banned you due to a rules violation.  I'll check more into it, and let you know if anything changes.

heres something else I picked up from the shed which made me a believer in the sheer idiocracy of formerformerfan. notice how he cant resist from the self-fellatio with the final comment about "intimidating the whole board" :LOLtartar

Since I have been compared to the guy on numerous threads, I decided to see who he was. I don't agree with what he says, or how he went about spreading his message.

You do have to respect him for the fact that he intimidated this entire board and all of its members. If I am going to be afforded that respect, I guess I'll grudgingly take it.

Odd, isn't it, that he has a Cox account - which includes email addresses - but the one he used for that was a Yahoo! account. Gee, you don't suppose his Cox account email address wouldn't just happen to be the same as formerfan's do ya?

I think he's OmahaPoohBear. Read THIS POST. Note:

gamecocks said, "He has a lot of talent but there is a big difference between D1 and DII."

"Hannah" replied with, "Maine--2005?"

pigsonthewing then insulted "Hannah" by saying, "Maine is D1-AA, putz"

It was then that OmahaPoohBear said, "No kidding? It would have been nice to beat them by more than 15 pts, a-hole. That's my point, smart guy."

Also, OmahaPoohBear has been invited to the Woodshed multiple times and has publicly stated he won't appear. Yet two of Hannah's posts are in there, and they attack two of the members that have invited him to a beat-down in the Woodshed.

Would someone please check IPs and email addresses? If it's the same one, then he's violated a Board rule against multiple identities.

Update:

Seems the rules do NOT prohibit multiple accounts - they do prohibit someone who was banned from creating a new account. See my post "Board Rules Link Missing".

 
Here's what I propose, since it's not part of the board rules now.

Email or PM one of his user names, tell him that I have changed the board rules to allow members to only have one active membership. Have him tell me which one he wants to keep and then ban the others. Then add to the board rules that having multiple active memberships is a banable offense.

How's that sound, or should I just change the rules and ban him outright.

Or should I change the rules at all, why can't members have multiple active accounts? I need valid reasons to defend the action.. I know obviously, we don't want people running threads with their multiple personalities, but are there any other reasons?

Either way, aweshucks was banned. We have proof that he created a new account. There is a standing rule for that situation.

Oh and in each accounts signature, I think we should place this: :)

Agreed - we should make it a rule against multiple accts. When we were 1st getting started I think we overlooked it b/c it helped, but now we just dont need to deal with it. And yes I also think we have enough grounds to just ban the tool outright.

As for my suggestion of adding what is probably adding the best gif evar to their sigs, I think it would be helpful to others on the board to put something in their avatar area or signature to show that they have been dispatched.

If we don't want to use the best animated gif ever, maybe put them in a group called banned?
