With a player that has some question marks as to if he can make it at the next level, that early signing bonus is extremely important. Those millions are what quite possibly he would have to live on the rest of his life. All just so he could get high one more time before the combine. I say that because really, that is what caused the first red flag to go up. Obviously, there are other issues. But, I don't believe they would be that big of an issue if it weren't for failing the drug test.That does not excuse losing out on millions. Just stupid and idiotic. So many pro athletes are millionaires on signing day and penniless shortly after their careers are over...Still richer than I will ever be, with a great opportunity ahead of him.
