^  We just need to win consistently again.  At one time while Frank was coach, we ranked 5th in total wins.  Now we are 9th I believe.  What happened?  I think Bo did enough to keep us at # 5 but BC, MR, Frost and so far HCMR have allowed us to fall far behind.  Frank had one bad year - so that was just a small pimple on the win total.  If we start winning, the perception of Nebraska as a blue blood will rise.  This is especially true if we find ourselves in the playoff.   Otherwise, we'll just be Minnesota - a has been.

Depends a little bit on how you count it, but in 2006 we got our 800th win, and were the 4th program to hit that mark. We're now one of 8 programs to have 900+ wins, in 8th behind the other 7 blue bloods and Penn State

I am late to this party but don't find these results surprising. This is generally what I remember as a kid. My Dad always told me how great the U of MN football team was but they were bottom of the barrel when I was growing up and were firm bottom dwellers with Wisconsin, Indiana, and Northwestern. His recollection was the National title contenders of the pre-1960's seasons.

Interesting (at least to me) what you don't see- Texas A&M on any of these lists. They sure think that they are a blue blood but no one else does.

GO BIG RED!!!

Texas A&M is the biggest underachieving program in college football history with the resources they have.  That's the only list they should be on.  1 conference title in the Big XII and a big bunch of jack squat in the SEC.  Fake military cadets, fake football program.

Anyone else a little surprised satterfield didn’t get a pay cut? They released some of salaries but nothing on satt. No wonder the guy stuck around. OC $$ to coach TEs. Wish I had a friend like Rhule
