If UCF hires Scott Frost, does Nebraska get money back?

Frost will be a guest on Dusty and Danny on Sirius tomorrow morning for an in depth interview if anyone is interested  I will not be tuning in…

 
When the Huskers Associate AD was hot mic'ed, it basically confirmed a few of the rumors about Frost.

Frost succeeding at UCF would definitely be easier to take if Rhule also succeeds.

I think he still needed to learn a lot about how to run a Power 5 program at the time, but his dad's passing during 2020 probably took a lot out of him. He probably won't admit it but I'm going to guess that year caused some pretty heavy depression and f#&%ed with his desire and dedication to being a head coach, which manifest in some poor behaviors and choices.

His father passing would weigh heavy on anyone. You couple that with the weight of the world expectations and pressure with this job and his personal background and it helps explain some of the rumors of his personal tailspin.

off the field reasons aside, I think the simple explanation is he brought his buddies with him that were unfit to be coaches in the big ten. Matt Rhule, who has much more experience than frosty did, made the same mistake albeit at a smaller scale. We saw firsthand this past season how a lousy staff selection can hold the entire team back. 
 

Luckily for us now, Rhule hit the eject button midway thru year 2 unlike frosty who didn’t really make significant changes until it was far too late in year 4-5
