Illinois - What Did We Learn

-Nebraska should have had like 35 points on offense.

-Offensive line has soooo many focus issues it is insane.

-Haarberg should just run read options and power options all day. It gets yards and I feel confident him carrying the ball.

-Defense played way better today. If they can get some injuries healed up they can be dominating.

-Special teams were kind of special today!

We’re getting better. Won a game we tried like hell to lose  :dunno
Considering that Nebraska was 3-19 against the B1G West going back a few years, I think this is a step up weirdly.

Under Frost those mistakes compound into a loss when the win probability was 90% or higher. The defense was confident and won the game. With Nebraska football going into a Bye Week, games they've rarely won, I'll take the win. Huge for them.

D played lights out after that goal line stand.

Gifford balled out.  Lived up to the hype and I hadn't seen until tonight

Sanford was a missile.

OL is still struggling.  To block, to not commit penalties to even grasp the basics

Play calling still suspect.  Appeared some of the TO's were for Rhule to get with Satt.

Triple option like Coastal and now Liberty run would do well with this O.

ST came up big and failed in the FG department.  Maybe expecting to much of Alvano

Moving forward, we really need to find a way to have HH (or Sims) roll out on some RPO stuff.  That side arm in the pocket is no bueno.

Made good 2nd half adjustments.

We won. 3 games closer to bowling.
