Iowa - What Did We Learn?

Did he? Who doesn’t want to be Mahomes.

He has now been call fat, sloth like, and other deragatories.  it’s super ugly.

My point was just that he happily steered into the comparisons, and since he hasn't achieved similar results,  he's taking heat (definitely some of it unfair and ugly).

May? We will finish 6-7. No matter who we play, we will manage to play down to their level and hand them the game. Losing to a piss poor Iowa team tells you that this team has already settled with the fact that we are going to a bowl. That was their target. Finishing strong is not in their wish list. This is the mentality of soft, badly coached teams.
Yeah. Defense definitely just rested on their laurels. Didn’t completely dominate the line of scrimmage or anything.

Do you hear yourself?  Get a grip

Why is this important? This is something our enemies would say about us. Really sucks to mock your own guys.
I am not mocking him. You said that Raiola does not emulate Mahomes. He does. Which is 200% fine, but if you do, then back it up on the field with at least one winning drive. Is he playing like a 5-star QB in your opinion? He is a freshman and hopefully he will grow and improve but he had four chances this year alone to finish one drive and win a close game and he is 0-4 in all tries. He gets one out of 4 and the narrative is different. I still have high hopes for him but he needs improvement in several areas including awareness in the pocket and getting the ball out of his hands quicker.

I absolutely did not say that. I said I thought it was unreasonable to compare him to a GOAT in their NFL prime

Our fans are getting in a wad about a handshake while simultaneously mocking our own. That’s how family works I guess.

Too many coincidences guys.

Oops, now you are also on the s#!tlist with me. If we state our opinion, we are labeled bad family. All I am saying is that for a 5-star QB, he has underperformed. We can blame the coaches for not putting him in a position to perform to his potential, and that is fair to say, but regardless of whether this falls on Raiola or the coaches, the result is a subpar year 1, especially when there were plenty of opportunities to shine.

Do you know how many true freshmen 5 star pocket quarterbacks there were this year according to ESPN?  What am I saying, of course you do. Since you clearly know what it means to perform at a baseline level given those traits.
