Jake Peetz Won't be Nebraska's Quarterbacks Coach

Reports are that Peetz will be the guy.  But they are working on when.  Seems to be some hold-up on leaving his current spot with the Rams.  Not sure if it's a contract buyout situation or just bad form to leave before the season is over.

Their season has been over for a while now.

 
Any idea on who Nebraska would or is trying to consider for the position?? Haven't heard any names on trying to fill the qb coach position or the wr position other then Joe Dailey.

 
My guess with how quiet it's been is that the rest of the staff will be filled by NFL guys after the end of the NFL season. But I have nothing to base that off of other than the radio silence from local journalists on new staff hires, and the timing with the NFL season potentially being the reason why.

Hearing rumors that Peyton Manning loves Omaha so much he's (potentially) willing to be QB coach at Lincoln, just to be close to his favorite city.

Just a rumor  :nanalama

Didn't think this would happen with an offensive coordinator already mentioned. Nice addition if true. Maybe co-OC's?

Sounds like that’s the plan. I love the Peetz hire. Probably the best one so far IMO.
