With Martinez moving up his visit, I wonder if Wilson is a Plan B if he doesn't commit this weekend. 

Don't see this as that. I could see us taking both. They are two years apart right now, and if Martinez were to RS next year.... Wilson would be a RS JR while Martinez would be RS FR in 2019.

Don't forget that running QBs are more likely to get inured so it helps to have at least 1 per cycle. Remember Taylor's turf toe derailed 2010 and Tommy going down ruined the rest of last year. Need multiple guys at the position.

You should always have 4 to 5 qbs on a scholly in my opinion. It is too important of a position to skip on and also has a very high transfer rate.

Yup. Having 2 and a RS like the last two years is not OK.

There is no guarantee that any of the scholarship QB's on the roster will stay.  So in my opinion, they should take a JUCO and a freshman.  The freshman for sure could redshirt if needed and I'm not sure if Wilson has a redshirt year as well but that could be an option.

Look at Ohio St.  They have 4 on the roster for next year and have a commit for 2018

 Michigan has 6 with 2 commits for 2018
