Kinighton to FSU

Yep, the last couple days were to just drive the price up.  If the DC is Butler, I expected him to go.  If Rhule doesn't know who the DC will be yet, and he wasn't promoting TK, I totally get why he moves with Tony if he liked him.  Go with what you know rather than an unknown.

Fwiw, this is why I’m more concerned about replacing DC than Knighton, although I understand the sentiment that Knighton hurts to lose.

He had a pretty light resume and exceeded expectations which gives me confidence that Rhule will make another good hire there. Okam looks excellent to me for example.

 
Just really hope that no more guys in TK's room jump ship.  It was one of the strongest "returning" rooms and now it needs work, without anymore defections.

Toledo doesn't show primary recruiters, so I'm not sure how great he is at that, but does have great experience. 

DL coach for Rhule at Baylor, and the Panthers; did a short stint with the Raiders. He coached James Lynch at Baylor and a few studs at Rice, and worked with Max Crossby in his breakout year. His DL's have statistically done really well getting to the QB.
