Not every one, but i promise you its more prevalent than most realize. Everything is so oversexualized now to the point that kids are becoming desensitized to it if parents/guardians/etc arent talking about it and taking control of it when they are young. If you are not talking about and explaining things to your kids when they are young about things of this nature and letting them know whats right and wrong you need to get started. Its up to parents/guardians/etc to get stuff like this changed because tv, movies, social media, etc are not going to get any better and you dont want them to be your kids teachers or moral compass.

 
I find it hard to believe that this young lady was forced to give a bj

i find it hard to believe 2 boys would forcibly assault her , film it, then distribute it if it truely was an assault 

Meanwhile the girl doesn’t say anything to anyone and seemingly is living a productive life

a more likely scenario

she did this deed

the video gets around school

she makes up a story to save her reputation -or first reaction and now buried in the lie 

in any event mo shouldn’t have sent her the video

16 year old kids who’s girlfriends give bjs to fellow classmates would probably make more than a few Kids  do something like this driven by jealous embarrassment 

not cool

 but it’s not child porn the way most think of it and he only sent it to her

he deserves punishment but not the death penalty

but in today’s ultra hyper me too political environment evidence and facts and due process matter little

this isn’t the first time this has been done by a white girl to an African American young man

Like the sacred heart case

2 young men accused of rape in bathroom

gal lies about it because she wanted to stay on good side of prospective boyfriend

This isn’t a rape/assault case though. One thing that seems certain is Mo sent the video.

Also, I don’t think race is important in this case. They had a prior relationship it seems and the video might have caused animosity. 

It’s important  to remember that they are teenagers.

She accused the other 2 Boys of assault

It looks like the police have chosen to not go after them

which most likely means she’s lying

And many teens in that position probably would lie

especially with mom and the whole school in on it 

so mo sends her and only her a copy

the jealous immature boyfriend who’s gal gives bjs to classmates on camera in a car 

and is humiliated by said video being passed around school

he made a mistake I’m guessing more than a handful of kids that age would do

he sent the video to her and only her 

punishment yes

probation yes

penance yes

death penalty no

The 6th person who thinks rape is only rape if there is obvious physical force involved. Getting really sick of the ignorance on this.

She didn’t say it was assault until 2 years later, and waiting to report it doesn’t mean it wasn’t assault anymore than the lack of physical force.

You later give reasons to doubt her, which I agree with. But I want people to stop being ignorant about what is required for sexual assault to be sexual assault. It can be rape even if it doesn’t look that way to anyone watching the video. It’s legally considered rape if you use coercion/threats/blackmail which would not have occured on camera. Not saying any of that happened, I just want people to realize rape doesn’t necessarily look a certain way.

The lack of physical force isn’t a reason to doubt her (there are other reasons for that). It just means the video is not very good evidence of her claim, which is likely why she’s not taking legal action.

Im disturbed in many ways. Both in your thesis "she's lying!", shows a gross misunderstanding of what constitutes sexual assault, which I don't want to derail the thread by going into. Other posters have done a good job explaining it already.

And the post itself.  Seriously, where's the punctuation?

No one can say what happened before or after that 10 second clip. All we have for for facts is the video. It doesn’t sound like there is anything in the video that shows assault. Hence why the police did nothing about an assault charge on the boys. 

So a think it is pointless to debate that fact anymore. 

The only thing that can be proven at this point is Washington sent her the video. What will he get charged in regards to possessing child porn and distributing

I'm not debating whether it was assault or not. I'm debating whether it CAN be assault if there is no physical force, and it can.
