You might shut down three of those Warriors for a quarter, or two of them for most of the game, but even the Bulls would have had trouble plugging up that scoring machine for a full game or series.
And that entire Warrior team prided themselves on defense. If they concentrated on slowing Jordan, the Bulls didn't have the backup scoring threats the Warriors did.

I mean ... Jordan is at the top of the list for most selections to the All-Defensive First team (9). Pippen was All-Defensive First Team 8 times and Second-Team twice more. Rodman was First-Team 7 times and Second-Team once. The Warriors have Green with three firsts and two seconds and then Thompson with one second. Curry and Durant haven't made it.
The Warriors may have prided themselves on defense but they don't hold a candle to the Bulls.
