This is interesting, but I do believe it will not affect certain teams from paying players under the table in addition. Or tampering. Unless you somehow get caught foolishly, now no one can track it down.
For example, we still would be wondering - why are top recruits and top transfers still choosing (for example) A&M, Texas, Ole Miss, Auburn, USC, Florida, Miami, etc, etc ? I'm sure Boosters will still pay athletes in addition under the table to secure the top recruits. There is no way to track cash hand shakes. That's why Boosters will love this. Players can get NIL and you can justify the new sports car and bling. And he's got bank. But ultimately what got him there will be the hidden cash in addition that you can't trace. Since he has NIL checks you won't question it. So, back to the good ol' days for some schools that handle business that way. If you just look at the right you can't tell what the left hand is doing.
