Nebraska captains refuse to shake Iowa captains’ hands?

Lolololol

Michigan won, OSU lost. They can celebrate on the logo if they want. Maybe if OSU showed the same fight during the game as they did after they would have won.

If I was Sherone Moore I would take a team picture at the 50 yard line with Michigan flags prominently displayed in the background.
First of all, OSU would have done the same thing in Ann Arbor.  The worst part of it was watching Ryan Day just standing there watching it all.  tOSU is incapable of showing up more than once a month to play anyone.  They have more talent and spend more money than anyone around and can't be bothered to show up against a rival, that if they played next week, they could beat them by 20.

Seriously.  OSU not going straight to the locker room was them looking for a fight. You lost, go cool off.

The no-handshake was definitely a bad look, but mainly because it was a bed-s#!tting loss.

This would be a nothing burger if NU won what shaping up to be a relatively easy win

I'm gonna be self-aware and agree here. It's the type of stuff where if you do it, you better back it up, not go lose in another dumbest way possible. Them doing this just makes me 5% more annoyed we lost.

I don’t have any dog in the M v OSU fight.  It was a big rivalry game and M won fairly. Good for them. For all of you claiming M can do what they want, plant their flag, take pictures at the 50, and OSU should just leave their home field in shame, yeah right. If any team did this to Nebraska and we left our home field defenseless, you’d stand for that? Really? We lost so now the other team can mock our home field?  I don’t think so. OSU was in the right.

Even little Gus Johnson called M out as disrespectful and then Joel Klatt clumsily steps in it “but Baker Mayfield did it” and Gus responds “that doesn’t make it right”.  Mic drop, Klatt corrects course immediately.

So if our players left to let Colorado or Iowa or Wisconsin plant their flag, you still good?

Well, we would take a win once in awhile!  How about we start there Mr. Tough Guy Coach, then we can move on to deciding if we want to not shake hands next time.   Maybe try and keep the important things important👍   Unless of course moral victories of sticking it to an actual winning program who kicks your a$$ every year and no longer even considers you a rival, by not shaking hands is good enough to make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

I guess we all have different priorities Coach🤷‍♂️

Knighton played DT in the NFL and has a super bowl ring. Not sure calling him a "though guy" who doesn't care about winning has quite the sting you think it does.

Every commentator in the nation speaks about how classy Husker fans are and how they embrace visitors and cheer for good play. To have our players do that goes against everything Nebraska. Let’s face it, for a team that has accomplished nothing over the past decade, acting like douches only makes us look more pathetic. But then again, we brought Rhule to develop players. So far, all he has done is blame refs, give excuses, and blow smoke up our “you know what”.

If we lost I’m 100% ok with it.

If it bothers you that much, then win the damn game.

Same here. The losing is the part that matters.

100% disagree. No one wins every tough game. Of course let the other team celebrate on their side and with their fans who made the trip. But to piss on our midfield is unacceptable. No football team worth their salt would allow that.

Nobody peed on the logo that I'm aware of. Got a link? Planting a flag on the logo is not anything resembling pissing on one.

If you can’t back up your tough guy act with a win, then stay humble and don’t draw attention to yourself and give the opponent a reason to stick it to you again for the millionth time already. Tough guy act is for winners.

What’s a “though guy”?

Anyway, It’s admirable he played in the NFL.  Last I checked, he is currently a college football coach though 🤷‍♂️  Why wouldn’t he stand behind his tweet then?   Obviously he knows he is wrong posting that in the job position he is in so what’s your flex here?

I’m pretty sure Northern Illinois did something like this back in the Frost era? Well, at least celebrate and ham it up photo op on the logo.

The initial scrum I do fault OSU. The second skirmish was after the idiot UM player skipped through OSU players thinking he was cute, instead of celebrating with his team. I do not blame the OSU player for ripping the flag when it’s being taunted like that.

As for Day, he looked like an idiot standing there. The dude is not a leader and that’s why OSU continues to squander title hopes away.
