Anyone with skeels:

Need one banner that says $25 gift certificate to Huskernation.com if correct score is picked. Each week this will be updated. Make it kool!! Players, cash, whatever

Also, need another banner that says 10% until this Friday night in celebration of being bowl bound. In banner I need it to say type "bobound" into promo code to receive 10% off order.

Feel me, can I get some love?

 
Will these go below the current HuskerBoard banner? Or somewhere else?

Same size as the current HuskerBoard banner?

Not that I can create 'em - just wondering where to place them when done.

Same size as the one on top. We will just put them in the rotation with the others unless you can figure out something else.

Pretty sure I can put two or more up there now - we could have all three up at once, each under the other.

Now, having said that, I don't think that's the best way - I think your idea of a rotation is better by far, as folks will complain about the amount of space being taken up, etc.

Anyone else have any ideas?

 
Had a thought - what about just hypertext below the current banner pointing to HuskerNation for the bobound promotion? Since that's going to be temp - or at least will change with the next promotion - makes sense. We could center it and either make the text larger or distinctive in some other way, such as putting it in a cell and adding a color to the cell background, etc.

We could do both possible. Do that for now linking the post.

 
Done. For future reference, and in case anyone has need to edit the header, you actually have to edit two sections. First, you have to manually adjust the size of the .logostrip class in the Edit Stylesheet (CSS Advanced Mode) in the Look & Feel section. Before it was 120px; with the text for the HuskerNation discount, it's 135px.

Then, you have to edit the global_board_header file in All Global HTML to actually insert the banner, text, links, what have you.

Kinda tricky, but now we can stick anything up there with the right coding - banners, ads, whatever.

So, Eric - any changes or suggestions?

I like the predict the score one. But Instead of red background, can you make it white with a red border, red letters. The huskernation banner is red, just want something a little...maybe add two small picks on either end, little character

We'll scrap the bowl eligable for now

After further review, I like the link below the banner.

Anyone else have ideas please let fly
