Netflix & streaming video stuff worth watching

Cobra Kai is almost impossible to watch now.  I am struggling to get through this last part.
Yeah, I’m not sure how far I made it on Cobra Kai, 3 or 4 seasons, but I haven’t watched the last 1 or 2….yet. The formula that worked back in the 80s gets stretched pretty thin in current times. Anybody that did some of that s#!t nowadays would be in jail and kids today wouldn’t care about the All Valley tourney. I’ll prob finish it sometime but it’s not at the top of my list.

They really captured it perfectly at the start but man did they run out of ideas and I am guessing that Ralph and Johnny, who were always worried about how the script would be, stopped worrying so much when they started cashing huge checks.  Which I totally get, I am sure they never dreamed it would be as big as it became.

But man, is it getting stupid.

Basically. When it was a personal story about one kid being bullied it was semi-realistic. When you have a literal war going on with multiple felonies being committed every year and no police ever seem to take interest, that’s when it starts to get silly.

I recently got Sheridan-pilled and finished the second scene of Tulsa King and the first season of Landman on Paramount. Both are good and definitely worth the watch as long as you aren't expecting some super deep thought provoking plot. Tulsa King is kinda Sopranos-ish with some typical Stallone action movie elements. Landman is different but Billy Bob is absolutely hilarious in it.

Still haven't watched Yellowstone or any of the other Sheridanverse stuff.

Me and the missus are watching GoT on HBO (rewatch for her, first time for me).

@teachercd I've heard Paradise is awesome.

Landman is great!

You will love Paradise too.

I will say it again.  Paradise on Hulu

It just keeps getting better!
Paradise is good and it does get better as it goes. Finished s1 e8 last night. For some reason I thought that was going to be the end of it. Now I’m not sure if there is going to be another couple episodes in s1, another season or if that was it.

As for some of the other recent mentions.

@Danny Bateman First time through GoT? What the heck have you been doing man? GoT is awesome. Think I’ve been through it 3 or 4 times…and I’m ready for another.

Yellowjackets. I’ve started it about 3x and I just can’t get into it. It seems like something I should like but…

Tulsa Kings. Haven’t tried it.

Landman looks promising but I’ve only seen the first 1 or 2 episodes.

Yellowstone. Gave up on it about the same time Costner did.Too many unlikeable characters getting away with crap that would obviously get them killed or jailed.

Yellowstone got SOOOOOO bad.  Just like Dallas messed up with they killed off Bobby Ewing, but at least Larry Hagman (I LOVE HIM) was smart enough to basically demand they bring him back and what do you know...10 more seasons!

Upload is a fun little comedy series on Prime. It’s sort of like a comedy version of a Black Mirror episode where people can upload their consciousness and live forever as a digital copy of themselves. 3 seasons out so far.

Class Action Park on HBO/Max.

You have to watch this. About an amusement park, Action Park, that operated in northern New Jersey 1970s to about 1996. No rules, no engineers designing rides, place was basically run by 14-16 year olds and was out of control. Untold number of injuries and multiple deaths. Runs about 90 minutes. Pretty wild what they were allowed to do. Unbelievable that the place stayed open as long as it did.

Would be interesting to know if anybody here ever went there.
