Yes. It would be fun to have a trophy for this game. But....make it fun. Not everything has to be ultra patriotic or honoring someone for doing something. Just make it fun.

I agree. I’m okay with where we are headed, but beating Iowa would have made this a very successful year 2

This. I'd say this was a barely "successful" year 2 and only because we went bowling. Losing to Iowa the way we did (and have done for the past umpteen years) as well as almost blowing it against BC, shows NU football coaches continue to undervalue special teams play despite what they've stated publicly.

I also feel someone needs to drill into HCMR head that 20 points doesn't win in B10 play.. is sure felt like we let off the gas in the fourth which, in my opinion, almost triggers the defense to do the same... Gas pedal the entire game.. if we get criticized for running up the point, we will address it from a championship playoff game next season..

Good thing the SEC got to beat up against a few ACC teams (and the ACC has been horrid this year).

That's happened in almost every single game this season. It was really disappointing that Dana couldn't break that cycle either. Rhule preaches about the middle 8 minutes of the game, but we just s#!t the bed in the 3rd and 4th qtrs. tOSU, USC, and UCLA are literally the only games we had a pulse in the second half this season. 6-5 in bowl season so far by the best conference in the WORLD!!!! is not something I would be hanging my hat on. I don't think the BIG is doing a whole lot better, but at least they typically aren't whining about how they got screwed over because they are so AWESOME!!
(just checked BIG is currently 6-4, so far. AAC is killing it at 6-1)

I think we would have scored more points if it weren’t for our special teams. And I think it could apply in every game that we played.
Nebraska needs to get back to being super physical, like Michigan was last year. Emphasis on OL and DL recruiting, weights, discipline, physicality. If we cant take pressure off Dylan we will lose him to injury or portal. Right now if I had to choose between taking the best two receivers in the country, or taking the nations best front 5 I would take the linemen. We will never get back to the top until we again embrace the physical part of football.
Those 35 yard vertical shots that used to hit at Baylor, ain't hitting here, and even if they were connecting, it would never be enough to win the Big 18 conference
