The up-tempo no huddle is a good thing to have available in the toolbox but, being somewhat oldfashioned, I always much preferred taking your time, lining up even when the D knows what you're gonna do, and ram it down their throat. It will be awhile, if never, that we have that type of O line again so, the ability to vary tempo is good. However, it is much superior to control the LOS and thus the game itself.
And as someone said earlier, it won't do you much good unless the offense is executing and the defense is doing their job. Up-tempo, solely for the sake of going fast is not a good plan. It has to be used as part of an overall game control plan and used when it makes sense.
