I'm not going to infer this is a great sign he is staying home. I can hope but not go overboard.

It really sounds like he is just not in a rush right now.  Not sure if he really wants to take some game-day visits this fall, just wants to make sure he doesn't make a hurried decision or what the deal is.  Really sounds like he'll just make his decision when he's ready but isn't all that worried about it right now.

Sounds to me like he's one that wants to see how year 2 goes for Rhule.  If they come out and play well and win games showing they have made a jump.....he's N.  If not, he wants to go somewhere else.

PS....I'm getting this feeling only from things I read here.  I have no inside info at all.

That is entirely possible.  And will (hopefully) but good for NU if true.

Nebraska, Oklahoma and Miami are his finalists. Said he’s probably going to commit three games into the season. Probably visiting Miami for a game.

Said he wants to “see some things” before deciding.

Really sounds to me like he likes Oklahoma a lot. But it seems likely that Nebraska is still in it if they can show him enough early in the year.

Just going off of your post. OU has a good fan base that makes it fun playing there and they have been pretty good.

Nebraska has a good fan base that makes if fun playing here but hasn't been good....but it's the home school.

Miami...not sure the draw there other than babes and beaches in south Florida.

So....OU is slightly on top now.

He wants to visit Miami for a game to see if it's fun playing there.  He'll likely see a half empty stadium with a less than enthusiastic crowd.

He knows it's fun playing at Nebraska, but wants a good program.  If we can come out and look good early, our chances go up greatly.  If we come out flat and lose early.....it's probably OU.

May also be wanting to see how OU handles the SEC transition. So even with an early September commit date, this one could be changing by the time signing day comes around.

Benning is such a dorky front runner.

Failed at NW and blamed everyone (even though they created a fake job for him)

Jumps on at Burke to do nothing...leaves Burke to jump on at Westside.

He name should be Coach Talks-a-lot.  Lord knows he doesn't coach.
