I disagree. Two wrongs don’t make a right. If you want to teach your team discipline, you show composure and demonstrate how not to let your emotions get the best of you. The do as I say not as I do approach to coaching is not a good one. Just because the players liked him getting a penalty does not make it OK.I think the players were proud of Matt for getting that penalty. That’s a coach that has their players backs. Several of them smacked him on the backside in thanks for standing up for them.
