QB Malik Zaire [Notre Dame Commit]

We don't need him... we have Taylor, Tommy, and Johnny... we haven't had problems getting quarterbacks. Before Tommy, we signed Jamal and Bubba who were both 4 stars. From what i've heard.... Tommy is the real deal and knows the offense really well already. Coaches were blown away by how quick he learned everything and by his ability to take control/lead the offense. The Recruiting guys in Lincoln have all said Tommy will be the next QB and they think he will play over Johnny.

Johnny will need a redshirt freshman year to come back fully from that ACL and Tommy will get playing time this year behind Taylor... and with our ease of schedule, probably a good amount.

 
I say stick to 1 scholarship QB recruit per class. (Unless there's a guy who is an athlete that would be good at multiple positions and willing to switch if it doesn't work out.) This guy wants to be a QB all the way so no... I like the idea of Stanton redshirting if possible.

This is a moot point anyways. Zaire gets to South Bend today and starts classes on Monday. If you had seen anything on the Alazone decommit/recommit to Florida, you'd see Zaire ain't going anywhere
