Didn’t watch it so I don’t know, but the comedian was certainly one of those unforced errors I was talking about. Can we at least agree that the Madison Square Garden Rally confirmed the ugliest, most divisive, and most honest side of MAGA regardless of any specific buzzword?

I promise you Libs laugh at those jokes too. It's only an error if you don't want to acknowledge what makes your audience laugh and vote.

The time and the place matters. Doing those jokes at a political rally is just stupid because it allows your opponent to make ads without the comedy context. Everyone is saying those jokes were ad lobbed and not vetted. It’s an error to have that type of comic at that type of venue.
Reminds me of the Andrew Dice Clay schtick of the 80s-90s...offensive on purpose for shock value.
Well, you’ve had the most Liberal of Liberals in Hispanic comedians George Lopez and John Leguizamo make fun of Hispanics for stealing everything, Jamaican women for only being able to be Housemaids who smoke weed and Jews being good with money. Doesn’t seem to be a Left Right thing about being crude and more of a comedy thing in generalThe three jokes in question would have drawn cringes in any comedy club I've been too. The insult is the joke. There's not even a "make you think" twist.
Dave Chappelle is vastly more talented at handling risky material, and he's having a bit of trouble with it, too.
Comedy is tough when you're punching down.
And let's be honest, Hinchcliffe was playing to the crowd. That's the point.
I can't pinpoint the difference, but Ricky Gervais gets away with some of this stuff by being much, much funnier. He's taken heat for it, too.
And I never found him funny either.Reminds me of the Andrew Dice Clay schtick of the 80s-90s...offensive on purpose for shock value.
