RB Madre London [Michigan State - Signed LOI]

Official to MSU

@joerexrode: Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) St. Thomas Aquinas running back Madre London commits to MSU on Fox Sports Florida. Over Wisconsin, Nebraska, Illinois

Bummer. Now, we really need to lock up Kalen Ballage.

Also, kind of a let down for London who planned on making his announcement on the radio station, 560 WQAM, tonight, but it sounds like the station that knew about his decision jumped the gun and made his decision public before he had a chance to. Poor journalism.

Catching up with S&B podcasts..... So we lost this guy because of the coaching uncertainty?

Thanks Eichorst!!
Nonsense, perlman says we have a process and that there's plenty of time for recruiting once a decision is made. There's no way that letting the media speculate rampantly with no support from the administration could negatively affect recruiting.

Perlman's overpaid AD needs to get over his wallflower ways quick.

This stressful, distracting, recruiting damaging situation would've been squashed by anyone with sense and the least bit of proactiveness. There is a reason Miami didn't care about losing him. If he'd planned on ditching Bo he played it alright, but seeing as Bo is still here he played it piss-poorly

I agree with eichorst policy. Maybe in this situation he could have broke it early to squash rumors. The main target of the blame would be the media. They circulated the rumors and speculation like a bunch of middle schoolers. Everyday 3 papers would run articles of bo being fire, and that would be after a win. The media needs to be held a little accountable in creating uncertainty.

Miami had bigger thing to worry about than losing an AD.

I disagree that Eichorst played it wrong. The media firestorm really took off after the MSU loss. We didn't know if we'd win out or lose out at that point, so from his perspective I agree on waiting to see how the rest of the year went.

The media deserves blame for their constant attacks and speculation, but it's eichorst that let it fester by stubbornly sticking to his "process". Waiting a few days after tape gate had a similar effect. The guy is getting paid way too much to sit back while the media circle like piranhas.
