Should we fire Satterfield??

Yep- keep blaming kids for continually making bad decisions. Satt was gifted the top qb recruit in the nation and we still see the same inept execution we did with a horrible qb last year. Must not be the OCs fault at all 🙄

I'm posting play-by-play analysis.  Feel free to point out where you disagee.

Or just continue to believe what you want to believe, evidence to the contrary be damned.

It’s really not the same as last year….at all.

I just find it funny cause 2 weeks ago I pointed out how we’re neglecting quick routes and passing concepts in the 8-15 yard range and u claimed I was blind and just telling myself wha to want to hear. And now you’re dropping essays pointing out the exact thing u called me out on

we just got our asses kicked 56-7, the 2nd worst loss in the big ten era for us, and u still on your soapbox mainly blaming players and not the guy in charge making 7 figure. A game of sloppy and poor play can be chalked up to a mistake by a player. A few games it becomes a combo of player and coaches- we are now on game 19 and we still see mediocre execution from this side of the ball. That screams s#!t coaching- whether it’s lack of development, poor scheme, too complicated - whatever u wanna call it, it falls on the OC

Fourth possession starts at the 25, down 21-7 with 3:47 to play in the half.

We throw a WR screen to Barney.  Not a great block by Bullock though it's tough to hold a perimeter block that long.  Bigger problem is Barney trying to go outside even though the defender was outside Bullock.  No gain.  We run a screen to EJ.  I assume we were anticipating the CB running deep with Bullock because Bullock doesn't even attempt to block him.  That CB slows EJ down then the safety that Barney whiffed on makes the tackle for a two-yard gain.  Raiola has a lot of time on third down and has Banks open but doesn't step into the throw and sprains his ankle.  Ball sails high and incomplete.

Punt.

No.  I pointed out that we were calling short passes, we just weren't throwing them.

But revisionist history is fun.

Like I said, feel free to point out where I'm wrong on what I'm pointing out.

Or don't.

It’s not? Our 2nd half offense is one of the worst in p5. Indiana hung up more points on us in one game yesterday than we’ve scored in the past month.

we have a kid with an electric arm and we still struggle to sustain drives and score.  Our offense is certainly better than last year but if that’s all u want to see than I feel bad for you because last year was the worst offense in our progrums history.

but yah, our offense is stellar and satt deserves snd extension lol

I already did- you continually blame the kids for not executing but not the coach in charge of said kids. U can scroll up and read that or dont

We literally had three 10+ play drives yesterday, often overcoming long yardage situations.  But you just ignore things that don't fit your narrative.

Pretty sure no one has said Satt needs an extension.  But it's more fun to argue against straw men.

Firing Rhule and white is a ridiculous take.

if our offense doesn’t show clear improvement by year end we would be foolish to keep satt around.  We have too many talented players at our disposal to be this in effective and inconsistent. If 2 years isn’t enough runway then we truly are a has been progrum that will never be back on the national stage
That's not my take, but it has been mentioned by others on the board and you certainly know that from reading some of the comments the 24 hours.

It has not been 2 full years.  There are 5 more games left to play.  The Husker players played awful on Saturday on offense, defense and Special Teams.  What could go wrong for us, did go wrong. And Indiana's players played like a Top 10 team.

No, actually show where what I'm commenting about the plays - which includes players making major screw-ups - is wrong.  Not just making blanket statements without anything to support them.

This is the most ignorant comment to the entire thread’s subject matter.

I should clarify, I didn’t mean you were ridiculous l, I was saying that regarding fans who have been posting that. Sorry for sending an inadvertent stray your way lol

I’d go Smash Raid.  We don’t have the OL or RBs to do it but that is what I’d build for.  Right now we have a QB and some receiving options to grab a few wins. But we don’t have the nasty punish the defense offense we need to be successful long term.
