A salesman never wants a customer to go home and "cool off" over their product.
Actually as a guy who personally made around 4.5 million in sales last year I can tell you that is a false statement. A good sales peron knows how to read his customer. He knows when to apply a little pressure to close and he also knows when it's too much and he needs to back off or risk losing the sale. He also knows who's the decision maker and many times it isn't the person saying yes.
How many times do we hear that mom wants him to go somewhere. Maybe the kids need to convince her.

Just my consumer oriented opinion here: A great salesman lets the product sell itself because if you have to hype something...

That being said, I like Bo's approach. Don't get caught up in the hype or emotion. Go home, think it through, make a decision, and then commit. I can live with a kid visiting and choosing another school. But if a kid commits and then decommits later...no patience.

Sucks he has to miss that game, I'm sure he was really looking forward to it. At least it's not going to be a long recovery.

Hopefully he gets back on his feet soon, and it doesn't hamper him going forward.
