I think he was questioning Alexander.
I think he was questioning Alexander.
According to this article, it looks like he has "open my recruitment". I hope he stays, he seemed so excited to commit in the first place, but who knows with these kids?
To be fair, his stats were very underwhelming. But I still would love to see him here.A lot of guys on 247 are trying to help a coaching staff out by making anyone who doesn't come here seem like not a very big loss.
I'm sure their number 1 goal is to help out the NU coach - glad somebodies looking out for us!!!A lot of guys on 247 are trying to help a coaching staff out by making anyone who doesn't come here seem like not a very big loss.
Who are these former coaches that you speak of, Zoogs? Never heard of them.Well, yeah. Some guys who don't end up coming here are pretty replaceable. In some cases the decision has mutual elements to it, or maybe there's a grades issue or something else that the coaching staff has known about for a long time and is prepared for.
Examples: when that RB left the class, it wasn't a big deal, and they went and got a prospect that most agree is better. When Terry Wilson left, we could all understand why, but that was a huge loss and his position is not likely to be replaced in this class.
I think these coaches deserve a good amount of benefit of doubt with their talent evaluation. If there's criticism to be had about message board people defending coaches, surely the ones who are still defending former coaches at the expense of the current ones deserve more head-shaking.
If one thing would scare away this staff, i think those words would: Inconsistent and lacking motor.New Jersey 247 writer about to update his NJ rankings and says Quayshon will be moving down based on this year's performance. Inconsistent and lacking motor were the terms they used.
Not my thoughts or facts. Just theirs.
