Slang Words Used In Your Area

Doorwall.

Yes, you heard me right. Doorwall.

Any guess as to what this means in Michigan?

A sliding glass door

I had to ask my girlfriend 3 times what she said when she said "did you close the door wall?" Those words in that order just don't register in my brain.

Is that anything like cockblock? :D

Porch or Deck?

Remote or Clicker or Channel Changer?

Sandals, Flip-Flops, or Thongs?

Glass or Cup?
Porch is infront, deck is in back.

Remote or clicker (either or)

Flip flops are a specific sandal where the strao goes between the big toe and 2nd toe, rarely called thongs.

A glass is made of glass. A cup is anything not glass.

Just my opinions. I have many if you didn't know.

I went to WLC with a guy from Maine. He called a driveway a door yard (pronounced doy-yahd). He said "you pahk ya cah in tha doy-yahd."

Porch in front. We always called the one in back the patio because it was still cement/brick/whatever. Deck makes me think it's made of wood.

Remote. I've never called it the clicker.

Agree the flip flops. The only people that call them thongs are my dad's age or older.

Agree on the glass/cup thing.
