I had to be convinced to come. A lot of the current HB members were contacting me by Facebook and email because they couldn't live without my opinion on various topics. All in all I'm glad they convinced me to join.

I joined in 2007, then stopped posting for a year or so. I don't think I posted hardly at all here during the 2008 season. I kept coming back because the board software would let me make the posting window HUGE, and the stuff I pasted into it would go in as Plain Text, then reformat it when I got it into my recipe files in Word. Pretty weird reason to stick around, huh?

I used HuskeBoard as a place to paste and format my recipes for at least a year before I started posting here regularly. I barely read anything and didn't post at all.

Not sure why I started taking part in discussions. 20,000-something posts later, I apparently liked it enough to stick around.

EDIT - actually, I seem to remember reading some pretty good conversations involving AR Husker Fan and HSKRNOKC, and eventually started chatting with them quite a bit.
