Solich worshipers are not True Husker fans

What did Steve Pedersen do to launch a smear campaign against Solich?
Oops, glad I decided to re-read the thread, I almost missed this gem. After the 2004 debacle SP needed an excuse as to why the coach he hired did so poorly. Easy enough, blame Solich for poor recruiting.

The worst thing I can remember SP saying is that the coaching change was needed because the program was spiraling towards mediocrity.
AND 3 YEARS LATER WE'RE STILL THERE!

Did he go on record with some derogatory quotes?
Of course not, that would reflect poorly on him. Instead he has his minions over at BRB do his dirty work.

So how long ago did you and Steve Peterson break up? Were you together long?

If Solich was still coaching, there would be more Andrew Shanles and Josh Davis's on the team.
We would also have a WR at quarterback, and the 2nd team would be made up of walk-ons.
Wonder if Wilson Thomas has any eligebility left, we should try and do something crazy like throw the ball to a 6'4" kid with ups on something other than play action.
carefull everyone, dont want to rile up the green clad husker fans

Bugeater you keep talking about the beating we took at Tex. Tech. Was that embarrassing? Hell yes it was. But do you think getting out asses handed to us by CU under Solich, when we were supposed to be in the hunt for a Nat'l Championship was fun to watch? Which was worse? Getting beat that bad by a Tech team in a year of transition to a new coach, staff, and offense, or getting our doors blown off when we were supposed to be able to contend for a Nat'l Championship? :asshat

The Tech loss was far worse. We were outscored by SIXTY FREAKIN' POINTS.

I guess thats your opinion. I'd tend to believe that most people would agree that the CU game, followed by the game against Miami, was worse. We were exposed for our weakness! At the point of the Tech game nobody really expected great things out of us in a year of transition!

Yes, that definitely sucked. You have to agree, however, that a lot of those 60 were courtesy of Mr. Leach being a d-bag.

Here's something for the Solich worshippers.

590 am is supposed to have him on today on Matt Perrault's show starting at 2pm. I think that the interview will not be until 5 o'clock though but I could be wrong. It would be cool if listeners could call in for a little Q&A session. Because I would like to call and maybe........uhhhh....I don't know.....exchange some Margarita recipes n stuff.

And dont forget Beau Davis........ :asshat and didnt sCUm hang like 62 points on a defense that was running the same thing they did the year before?........sCUm loss had much fewer reasons to happen then the TT loss.
