And, yet, those programs aren't any closer to winning a championship than when they fired those coaches.I get the comparison, but since 2017 all three of these programs have fired coaches that won 25+ games over a 3 year span. Frost would be more than safe if he had the resume of Herman, Helton or Jones. We aren't looking to fire a coach that has proven he can win 8+ games at this level - we're looking at firing a coach that is staring down the barrel of his 4th straight losing season. While the argument could be made those schools made a mistake by firing guys that are winning 7-9 games, that doesn't necessarily mean we would be making a mistake firing a guy who is winning 4-5 games.
