Yeah, I saw that post Mavric quoted about RSS and removed it to the Woodshed. We're not going to have that conversation over and over and over again. It's thread derailing. Thought about PMing, but...I'm not looking to go down the carl road here with him.

Thankfully, he's (largely) still here to simply participate in discussion, which is more than you could say about some. But the personal attack stuff is not okay.

As a side note, I guess there wasn't any name calling from Hunter in the leadup to that, but that I'm-posting-facts posture / "So defensive. That happens when proven wrong sometimes" is a infuriating. There's criticism of coaches and there's just trying to start it with people you disagree with. Fine lines and gray areas, though. I'm sure the same argument could be made about a lot of posts.

Not that I think he should be in trouble for this, just wondering where it should end up.

He posted this in the Hockey thread. I moved it to the NSFW thead in the 'Shed. Is that OK or should it be removed completely?

Yeah, I agree with you guys. Nothing to be in trouble for but the Woodshed NSFW thread is the right place for it. Alternatively I guess he could link to the image with a NSFW warning, or link to the post in the Woodshed.

 
I think there is precedence for these type of comments deserving a suspension but someone else can tell me if I remember that correctly.

Not exactly the same - I think the previous comments were directed a a specific member as opposed to more general - but I think a warning stating that isn't acceptable would be in order.

Just check out his posts in the "Nebraska Way" thread, and woodshed the last 2 days. Hell, most of what he's posted since he's been back has been combative.

I'm still seething over that thread. Knapp and StPaulHusker took a poorly worded post of mine and practically started a riot. I made a post defending Tom Osborne's treatment of Lawrence Phillips and the Knapp/StPaulHusker took it upon themselves to paint me as some sort of women abuser.

I'll tell you, fellas, I took a day away from the board to calm down. But I'm still seeing red over the things that were said in that thread. I'm not sure what's gotten into StPaulHusker and Knapp lately. But if I see them trolling and bullying other posters, I'm gonna drop the hammer.

That was some Grade A bullsh#t. Knapp PM'd me later, and said he thought you just didn't say it right, but he didn't act like it in the thread. St.PaulHuskers has been acting like a complete shitheel since he came back.
