Take THAT...Bo!

I think its possible that Bo is 4-4 at this point of the season if still here. Illinois would be the only game thats different. Bo's track record against Wisky speaks for itself, same with Northwestern, Miami not much different and we all about Minnesota's record versus Bo ........I think 4-4 would be his best right now.
We would be 8-0 if Bo was still here. I have no doubt.
When I read chit like this, it reminds me of middle aged dude that never quite got over the breakup in high school with the smoking hot, psycho nymphomaniac that screwed all of his buddies, then forgave her in the morning.
"Oh, we could have been so good together. Too bad she was a farking nutcase."

BO IS GONE. GET OVER IT
I just posted the same thing on another thread . . . I'm not wishing or hoping that he comes back or even wishing that he didn't get fired. He pushed to the limit and left them no choice but to fire him (although Eichorst and Perlman share part of the blame too).

The fact is, and I know you don't like to hear it, but Bo would be 9-0 today and ranked top ten if he was still here. This schedule is by far weaker than any schedule he ever played.
I thought you were the guy who said we shouldn't expect a coach to do something he's never done before.
I don't believe I ever said any such thing.

Bo won 9 games every year. Why would this year be any different? Last year we were ranked #13 in the Playoff Rankings going into MSU. This year would've been very similar. There's absolutely no reason to think Bo would all of a sudden decided to tank this year after 7 seasons of at least 9 wins.
Let me paraphrase:

"If a coach has a career record of .500, why should we expect him to do any better at Nebraska?"

Since Bo never started 9-0 in his previous career, why would we suddenly expect him to do it with this team?

Also, Bo's gone. Move on. Stop bringing him up.

You've said that. Repeatedly.

You need to keep up with yourself.

One last time, kids.

Frank Solich had a drinking problem. He also had a young lady problem. Both were threatening to create a Nebraska football problem. Something in the Steve Sarkasian/Carl Pelini realm.
Lies propagated directly by Pedey's minions to lay cover for the botched firing.
Not lies.
Yes, lies. I know this is the internet and everybody knows anybody can say what they want. But I know you won't post ANY type of info to back up these lies (since it doesn't exist). I will say, I know Frank, not real well. I know some of his family members. And I know his attorney while he was here in Lincoln. He was going to sue the AD for slander. His attorney talked him out of it because A) it would be too hard to prove, B) it would just draw more attention to the lies. So he dropped it and moved on.

Those are the facts. Sad that the Pedey propaganda machine is still chugging.

I just don't see how anyone can undoubtedly say this. I mean, let's just be realistic. This offensive line isn't very good, and even under Bo, they were at best an above average unit, and that really depended on the week.

TA was similarly as turnover prone under BP that he is under MR, we have no dominant running back and Bo has never once gone that far into a season undefeated.

This team would not have been overly talented even if the head coach had stayed the same. Would we have a better record under Bo right now? Likely. Would be undefeated? Highly unlikely.

I have sources as well. My sorority member sister in law watched as Frank went through a specific group of girls in that sorority.

This was in 1996. He had a drinking/fidelity problem that went back years. I can't speak to anything from the time he was HC. I know that I have talked to some of these girls and they backed up the story.

Your story sounds like a pretty convenient story spun to keep his family from finding out. Nebraska was nice not to let that cat out of the bag.

I think your third hand sorority girlfriends were drunk and were banging Craig Bohl.

Haha. I'm pretty sure he wasn't there in 1996.

Yes, yes he definitely was. LB coach. And he had a habit of giving out various names when meeting young hunnies.

Well that I don't know. All I know is these girls definitely know who Frank Solich was.

So Frank getting a DUI in Ohio was a lie also?

I think that one actually happened. But wasn't he supposedly roofied or something?

You don't have to talk to the recent players this year to realize Bo was bad for the team.
It fits the narrative so people will push that agenda.

Tom Osborne was around Pelini a lot. He had an opportunity to hire Gill and he had an opportunity to fire Pelini. Instead, he doubled down on him and also endorsed him for subsequent jobs.

Why do some Husker fans insist believing they know more about Nebraska football success than Tom Osborne? What sort of arrogance does that require?

Tom didn't have the perspective of watching the poison spread, the sensational videos that fed up players kept leaking and a host of other issues when he made that decision.

Osborne is also loyal to a fault, and always looks for the best in people.
