Let me paraphrase:I don't believe I ever said any such thing.I thought you were the guy who said we shouldn't expect a coach to do something he's never done before.I just posted the same thing on another thread . . . I'm not wishing or hoping that he comes back or even wishing that he didn't get fired. He pushed to the limit and left them no choice but to fire him (although Eichorst and Perlman share part of the blame too). When I read chit like this, it reminds me of middle aged dude that never quite got over the breakup in high school with the smoking hot, psycho nymphomaniac that screwed all of his buddies, then forgave her in the morning. We would be 8-0 if Bo was still here. I have no doubt.I think its possible that Bo is 4-4 at this point of the season if still here. Illinois would be the only game thats different. Bo's track record against Wisky speaks for itself, same with Northwestern, Miami not much different and we all about Minnesota's record versus Bo ........I think 4-4 would be his best right now.
"Oh, we could have been so good together. Too bad she was a farking nutcase."
BO IS GONE. GET OVER IT
The fact is, and I know you don't like to hear it, but Bo would be 9-0 today and ranked top ten if he was still here. This schedule is by far weaker than any schedule he ever played.
Bo won 9 games every year. Why would this year be any different? Last year we were ranked #13 in the Playoff Rankings going into MSU. This year would've been very similar. There's absolutely no reason to think Bo would all of a sudden decided to tank this year after 7 seasons of at least 9 wins.
"If a coach has a career record of .500, why should we expect him to do any better at Nebraska?"
Since Bo never started 9-0 in his previous career, why would we suddenly expect him to do it with this team?
Also, Bo's gone. Move on. Stop bringing him up.
You've said that. Repeatedly.
You need to keep up with yourself.
