Tangent Thread - P&R Edition

@HuskerNation1's post is in the Shed so far as I can see. There isn't a post history tool to say when it got there, though.  :dunno  I thought we cleared most of that stuff out but it is always possible for things to slip through the cracks, particularly when dozens and dozens of posts are having to be moved.

Complaining about it in the Shed doesn't really do anything unless one is simply looking for a cathartic release. If his post was accidentally left behind, and nobody used the reporting function on it (which, so far I can see, they haven't), it's unlikely we would go trolling back through that monstrosity of a thread to randomly find it.
Wait, you DON'T go back and read every post and then cross reference that post with the posters posting history?

Do you even mod, bro?

I could literally post hundreds of videos that show people that are obviously not white supremacists burning and looting there

Good for you. That doesn't mean that White Supremacists aren't instigating a lot of the violence that you're solely attributing to Antifa & BLM. So... great?

I provided links. The cops are saying White Supremacists are doing this. Are the cops lying?

I think you might be getting your news at cnn

where they claimed the protests were mostly peaceful, while the background shows multiple buildings going up in flames. May want to look for other sources. They don’t even try to hide their bias anymore, laughable

At what point does that thread (and others like it) ultimately get locked?

Yeah, they do.  But are they even trying to play?  I haven't heard them being vocal about it.
The players aren’t

The fans arent

The parents arent

The ads, presidents and coaches arent

Because they would be crucified by the press there

That footprint is just significantly different from those who are playing. Their silence is deafening

So your premise is that these players, who have played their whole lives, many of whom have NFL aspirations, aren't saying anything about their desire to play...... because the newspaper might print some mean words about them?

Is this for real?

Not at all. Part of it from some groups is that college football just isn’t important there, it’s cultural. Part is fear for other groups. Nebraska was vilified for saying they wanted to play in the big which is a split culturally.

The ultra liberal west coast press isn’t going to do that x100 to anyone that would stand up and say they wanted to play?
