Interesting start and finish to a point

Pretty sure the MAGA crowd is what voted in Pillen and the oversized adult Calliou Ricketts.

Nebraska used to be politically moderate in the 1990s. It's not a coincidence that this was also they heyday for our state and University.

The state needs everyone to agree on core principles to excel, including the value of an educated populous. When one party abandons those values and pushes to devalue education, it's obviously going to impact anything touching academica...especially a land grant University.

There is a way to have this conversation in the football forum rather than the p&r forum, and this is not the way to do it.

And now Trev finds himself in the open-minded and education-loving bosom of Texas.

The root cause of this is a political matter due to a vacuum of leadership. Where is that vacuum? It's in the governor's office.

Again, here is one of the consequences for voting MAGA--you have idiots like Pillen that are too inept to lead and are purposely sabotaging the university.

Maybe instead of being hurt about the conversation, be hurt that we have inept leadership destroying one of the best things about this state and the athletic program that is tethered to it.

My understanding is that the political side of this plays a much smaller role than the education side.

I think your point is not entirely wrong, but it is 100% going to get moved out of this thread because of how you're making it in the Football Forum. Agree or disagree, this is not the place or the way to have this conversation.
