TE Bear Tenney [Utah Commit]

To which school will Tenney commit?

Did some browsing and stumbled across some more information on Bear. Apparently his family has moved a ton over the last three academic years.

2024 He is at Lone Peak HS in Utah currently.

2023 he played at Lovejoy HS in Lucas, Texas

2022 he played at Chandler HS in Arizona ( with Dylan Raiola).

I knew Dylan liked this guy and Bear returned the compliments, did not know they had played together in HS in 2022.

Yeah something seems odd.

Also, HOL seems to indicate that we were actually looking at him to play OL, and perhaps he decided that's not what he wants to do.

 
He was a hand on the ground, move the line, a$$ kicker blocking TE.  You know something NU lacks going forward.  Loftin is Fidone 2.0 with intact knees that will be more productive out of the slot.  Yes, Bear could've slid down to tackle with his blocking and putting on weight.  If the mobility stayed decent, probably would be a stud tackle.  Who knows what all played into the move, but oh well.  

PLUS the biggest loss in the whole situation is MOM.   :clap

 
Sounds like he was about 225 when he committed but is now 260+. Wasn’t a fit at TE anymore. We gave him the option to play OL but he declined.
