The 2024 Election —What did we learn?

Which pedophiles generate more news? The ones you've never heard of before or the ones that were already famous?

Also, it's kind of a chicken and egg thing. Getting some kind of role in casting is a great opportunity for a pedophile, because actors tend to start young and you're in a position of power over them. It's one of the only situations where young people can be employed.

The answer is obvious, of course.

But how about this?  Why are those already-famous people vastly supporters of left wing candidates and policies?

Restaurants are rife with this kind of thing as well. Lots of kids get their first jobs as servers, or bussers.

I guess the low IQ reality TV crowd is a greater portion of the electorate than I imagined.

This is hard to consistently keep in mind. None of us are the actual median/average American - that person is the types of people you see waiting in line at the DMV. They're not educated, they're not sharp, they are not equipped with critical thinking, and they have no imagination past the lowest resolution and most short-sighted version of 'what's in my best interest?'

I think RFK Jr. is an utter moron and think he will do a lot of stupid s#!t.

And I don't really have any hope.

But I actually think something should be done about unhealthy food. All subsidies that help produce sugary foods/corn syrup should go away. Soda and other foods that meet a certain threshold of sugar % should have their taxes raised to the cigarette tax (20%) and they should not be purchasable with food stamps.

Yikes what a very elitist view.

And what the heck is wrong with people waiting in line at the DMV?
Wait a goldarn minute…I’ve had to wait in line at the DMV.

But actually I understand what he is saying (and I may be a tad bit elitist). I mean mathematically half of the population is less smart than the other half. That’s just a math fact. I guess the “average” (or more precisely, the median) would be smarter than half and dumber than half. The DMV was probably a poor example but there is no escaping that there are a whole bunch of people stupider than the average.

IDK, maybe Walmart woulda been better.  Seriously, when I have to go there I want to get out as fast as possible. 1- to get away from stupid people and 2- so nobody sees me there and makes the wrong assumption.    I figure people at the DMV are only there because they have to be.
