The Democrat Utopia

No you wouldn’t.

Joe Biden and your Democrats had 4 years to look into Elon Gov contracts and expose any fraud waste or abuse.   Would it surprise me if there is some?    Nope.     Now what did we get for government contracts?   What is the value of what SpaceX alone has provided that the government couldn’t do on its own.   Dems want electric cars, so what has Elon done with the Gov subsidies for electric cars????  Built the largest electric vehicle company in the US.  What happened to some of the solar companies that received huge Gov funding subsidies.   Yep, bankrupt.    Does the DOD want to eliminate any Starlink contracts and put up our own system or use someone else’s?   Biden could have easily done that but he didn’t.   Why?   Probably because it adds value beyond the subsidy.

But if not then cut it.  I’m all for cutting of large organizations  sucking at them teet of the US taxpayer and not providing appropriate value.

Just bringing some truth to the conversation.

So you are saying there is probably some waste in Elons government contracts but the overall good added is better? I'm sure the value added vs money spent is pretty low compared to actual helpful agencies and NGOs but he is on the right side so it's fine to hand wave. Maybe we should cut off all his funding and investigate. That's billions in contracts that Elon is pretty familiar with why don't we start there for his valourus effort to help the American people.

You just have faith that an unvetted billionaire with unbelievable conflict of interest and a team of unvetted kids with no transparency are going to act in the best interest of the American people. I'm sure some waste will be eliminated and you will point to that and act like this was good, but long term serious damage to actual helpful agencies will occur because the whole plan is Theil and Musk buying into the government and privatizing everything.

Not really.   I’m saying it wouldn’t surprise me if the government contract have too much profit built in for receiving company (starlinl etc) which I consider to be wasteful.   Could those contracts be for less money and same results??   Probably so let’s look at it.

So, with everything else, your solution is, because there's some waste, everything needs to be shut down and dismantled immediately.  But.....with Musk, it's....well, let's look at it and see.

Shouldn't the response be, "let's shut down everything we are paying Musk immediately because there might be some waste"?

Funny.  Because you have defended that at every step.

Let's just take one.  You support Musk shutting down and dismantling of USAID.  True or false.
You said….support shutting down complete departments immediately.    False.   Maybe start asking the question you want answered and not asking the  creative question and falsely claim the answer you get is hypocritical

I support shutting down MANY of the spending programs with USAID and if they want to fold it into State, that’s fine by me.   I also told 2 different people on here that my preference was a 60 day window to wind down the funding going away.  That literally does not mean “immediately”.

He has shut down complete departments.  Cutting the work force of a department from 10,000 to less than 300 is in essence, completely shutting it down.    CFPB is another example.  So, no....my question is a valid question.

Glad you don't support this.  But...when people make comments about this being bad, you come back acting like they are whiny liberals.  But....you must have the same feelings as them....but just don't express that here.

But, that's not happening and you make many comments on here about people against what is happening being over reacting.

So.....it appears that these people are expressing the same feelings you have.

And...like I said in my last post....cutting from 10,000 to less than 300 employees, isn't just "shutting down many of the spending programs...."  It's pretty much completely dismantling the entire department immediately....which now you claim you don't support.
