The Democrat Utopia

You've presented yourself as a traditional conservative. The honest traditional conservatives are generally appalled by Trump's big beautiful bill. This is your moment to stand up, Archy.
Funny story… I’ve already stood up and have a problem with raising the debt with this bill👍.  I prefer Elons take over Trump’s take.   Even said so to Buster which I know you saw

Don't lecture us about how taxes don't work
I would never lecture you on that because taxes work just as they are laid out.  Law says you have to pay a 10% rate on your taxable income….you better pay a 10% rate on your taxable income or you get punished if caught avoiding it.   Government takes that money and spends it on good things and wastes plenty on things government has no business doing or overpaying for it.

Seriously Archy?

This isn't about confusion or conflict among libs. It's about pulling up a chair and watching The Most Powerful Man in the World and The Richest Man in the World go after each other like narcissistic teen influencers in a vintage Twitter beef. If they didn't control nuclear arsenals and global communications platforms it would be pretty funny. Actually, it is pretty funny. Musk has a slight edge in that he's right about the budget and the tariffs, and he's independently powerful enough to say out loud what everyone else is whispering. But there is absolutely no obligation to like Elon Musk. I don't know a single lib who isn't enjoying Musk's bromance going south. He earned it.

Say, weren't we just discussing selective outrage? You know that works both ways. Republicans who celebrated Musk two weeks ago now want Trump to seize SpaceX and deport him? That must be confusing to them, too. It's one hell of a story right now, and Fox News has no idea how or whether to cover it.

Also, I would like to disavow any Democratic whining about a rigged election, which has never approached the levels of the Trump/Republican denials. But you gotta admit, the recent revelations contain as good or better evidence than whatever convinced 70% of Republicans that Joe Biden's election was invalid.

Well that's roughly 13% relevant to the larger issues being discussed, but I'm not going to drag you out of your comfort zone.

You say a lot of things, but at the end of the day you still appear to be carrying Donald Trump's water. I know that seems unfair to you, and maybe it is, but the Republicans who share these selective criticisms of Trump are also the people who voted him into office and have, so far, let Trump walk all over them. That's why I'm hoping you express these concerns to your elected Republicans rather than just Buster.

It does seem like it is confusing for them👍

I actually wouldn’t admit that, but we are all entitled to an opinion.

That seems to be your standard reply when shown you are off base with an issue……”But there is a larger issue”. “Thats not the large issue”. “ way to not discuss the larger issue”. 🤣   That’s when I know I’ve hit the bullseye. 💪

My elected House rep is a Democrat and voting against the bill, one of my Senators looks to be a Trump all the way guy and the one I like is very very measured and doesn’t really need me to call and express my concerns because he has the same ones.

Whooboy. Haha. Thanks for the laugh on a Friday. Can’t/Won’t even admit the glaringly obvious. That isn’t an opinion, it is just a fact. It was basically Trump’s entire platform and way over half of your R brethren took it hook, line and sinker. Yet you won’t admit how extremely far fewer dems are claiming election fraud upon DJTs election, with way more evidence of shenanigans than was ever presented for the Biden stolen election claims that MAGA accepts as fact.

Actually it fits though and tracks with your posting history.

Anyway, thanks for the chuckle.

Just saw a Tesla (red one) with a bumper sticker that said

"I bought this before Musk became an a$$h@!e"

Which is clearly all you need to let you know how things are.
