The fate of FF & NH

Blackshirt

Team HuskerBoard
Okay guys heres the deal. Eric and I had a talk and we both agree that the 2 village idiots deserve to lose their board privileges for a while. The overall disrespectful treatment of the board and our mods will not be tolerated.

We also feel its important to maintain a solid stance following the board rules, and provide some type of "public documentation" to justify their banishment, so to speak. There are many people that have no clue about the history of these jholes, so we have to keep public perception in mind as well.

So this is how its going down. Im going to put both of them on "notice", and give them a final warning that even the SMALLEST of infractions over the next 30 days will result in a 30 day suspension.

We all know theyll dig their own holes, so just keep an eye open for anything that resembles a violation, move their post to the Offenders thread and let myself or Eric know, and we'll kick em in the hole.

Let me know if anyone has any input about this course. Thanks again for all you guys do.

Please let me know of anything and it's an automatic 30. Nameless has it coming. He was on bighuskerfan for a while and then got kicked off, and their board has still survived. He wants his own board so bad. He'll jump around and do the same thing everywhere. As we speak he's trying to plot our demise. Funny thing is I'll kick'em in his teeth. He has no life. I'm not sure whewre I'm going with any of this, just let me know if either say anything to anyone...whether it be to complain or wise off. Most important point...there is no debate over this.

Brainlesses response....

------------------------------

You can put me on a 2 strike system if you want. That's your right, but when the following posters

KansasHusker

HSKRNOKC

StuckinChicago

Hunter94

blackshirtsguru

kc_husker

skersfan

BelieveN

Roy CO HSKR

HANC

HuskersGJ

Spartness

pm me and tell me that i am getting a raw deal by that "ultimatum" post considering they are the most active members of the board, it makes you wonder who is really disrupting the board. It's not going to make a difference anyways. Ar Husker Fan already hates me so he can simply say anything he wants to get me booted of the board.

--------------------------

he's so full of sh#t. no freakin way all these people PM'd him to lick his balls in a period of a few hours. I only posted the message last night about 8 PM. and I can tell you with certainty that Spartness & HANC havent even been logged in since Friday. All he did was make a list of all the people that dont completely despise him, and are active members. Im tempted to PM a couple of these guys to debunk his story, like HskrNOKC - but if for some reason they did, then they would go and tell him and it would make me look like a doosh. So might as well just ignore it b/c its not even worth the time.

I have been thinking about this, and while I still support the stance, I think it might just be enough to calm them down for a while. The 60 days this is in effect, that is.

I can see Nameless slipping up because he is just dumb. FF is more clever and will just scoot by.

I think the 60 day thing should be extended, well, to infinity. Otherwise I think one or the both of them will be just on the right side just long enough.

What do you guys think?

YEA FVCKING RIGHT. There is no way those people did that. Have those people even been on the board since that was posted? That would be interesting.

edit; I should probably finish reading posts before I reply. That just cracks me up.

I don't suppose there is a way to view PM traffic is there? You planning on replying?

I can only view the number of PMs sent during a period of time. And when I checked this morning there had already been 12 today -- twice as many as all day Saturday. So Im guessing the majority of them were brainless PMing people whining about us, and trying to get them to defect like he did last year.

The even funnier part is that this PM he sent me was about 12 AM last night -- so he's trying to tell me that 12 FSKING people PMd him in a period of 3 hrs??!! holy f#*k guys, this tool is a bigger ego-maniac than we ever realized. dude is critically dillusional.

Oh and another humorous thing I thought you guys would get a kick out of -- dickless emailed me about 10 PM last night, asking to redeem all of his hboard pts!! hahaha. jerkfuck. I'll respond to him in a few days informing him that members who are on "probation" arent allowed to redeem their pts. I'll tell him if he proves hes capable of being civil over the next 60 days, I'll consider allowing him to redeem them. lol

That's fvcking bullsh#t if he's PM'ing people and bitching. I think he did that with DJR last time. Talk about the wrong guy to PM.... :rollin I am sure he wont' this time.

Nameless' problem is insecurity. The guy can't stand the thought of being wrong - and desperately wants to be seen as being "the guy".

I'm with Dave - Nameless will violate it first. He has an almost infantile response to things he disagrees with.

No problems from me. I think you've all been more than lenient with these two. Both want to be the known as the best but prove time and again they aren't mature enough to earn it. They almost inevitably disrupt every thread with their squabbling. Nuff said.

GBR and GB HB.

FF's response:

I read it, and first, I need to apologize to the mods for any action that they find unsavory. I honestly try to be above it, but find myself doing a little mudsligging, unfortunately. I understand that you have a business to run, and you must do what is best for your business. I did have a couple of questions:

1) Is the woodshed still a relatively open forum, or will it be subject to the same scrutiny as the rest of the board??

2) If at anytime I do decide to disagree with someone on a given topic, will that automatically be considered a 3rd strike??

3)You may not appreciate this question, but I feel that I need to ask it:

QUOTE

Based on feedback from our mods, & numerous emails we've received over the past 2 weeks regarding both of your ubiquitious back-biting remarks & overall negativity towards each other and topics in general, Eric & I and have decided that it's time for both of you to get your act together, or take a walk. This is your last warning.

In regards to that quote, does this mean that you will be granting strikes based on popular opinion?? Because its kind of obvious that if certain people dont agree with you, they feel that you automatically should be banned.

I was just hoping for a little clarification. Thanks

Sigh...

The guy is bright, and does debate well. If only he wouldn't push the envelope.

Just so we're all clear, I assume the answers to his questions are:

1. The Woodshed is wide open (except for the kinds of remarks for which the Board has suspended people in the past, such as the homophobic remark by Benard, for example).

2. Disagreement on a topic is not going to be a strike - derailing the thread will be. If someone derails the thread first, and you respond, that won't be a strike against you either - you didn't derail the thread. However, if it becomes a pissing contest, we will move that part of the thread or even delete the posts. And if the posters are warned to stop and don't, that would be a strike.

3. No, strikes are not based on popular opinion. The statement "Based on feedback from our mods, & numerous emails we've received over the past 2 weeks regarding both of your ubiquitious back-biting remarks & overall negativity towards each other and topics in general" refers to the practice of derailing threads by either engaging in pissing contests, or inserting a statement that is unrelated to the thread or previous posts (and that most often is seen as negativity). As an example, if a thread is started to debate how players under the CURRENT walk-on program are handled, a response comparing it to the way it was done under other coaches is both unresponsive to the topic and serves no pupose but to cast a negative comment. In that example, you would certainly be free to start a thread contrasting the current walk-on program with the prior program.

In short, while we want opposing views, what we are trying to curb what many, if not most, members see as attempts to take shots at the current staff by inserting posts that are not directly on-point. If the post is on-point to the thread, fine. But the members are complaining that no matter the subject, no matter the direction of the topic, either one of two things is happening. Either you and Nameless get into a pissing contest and derail the thread that way, or you insert a remark that, due to what could be considered negative, moves the thread off the general direction. Again, the best I can give is an example. If the thread is discussing a coaching decision - whether to run a full back dive verses a fade route to the corner of the endzone - and you insert a comment such as "When we had competent coaches, there would never be any question - this staff would rather implement their system than run a play we know will work", the discussion moves from whether to call one play over the other, and becomes a discussion about the coaching staff.

We don't care if you post negative comments about the staff - we do care when every post inevitably moves threads in that direction when the thread did not raise that issue. Again, start a new thread and let it go that way - and let the original thread move along the lines of discussion for which it was created.

Is that about right?
